The star of the film is an amazing creature - a Stingray. Filmed during a scuba dive in Antigua. I saw the stingray on the sea bed, and swam down, settling myself as close as I could without frightening him. The stingray was very aware of me. At first, it just kept still, then it started to turn, putting its tail closer and closer to me. The tail is where the sting is - and if it had managed to sting me, then it would have been very nasty indeed! When I saw this stingray, I was well aware of the dangers of the sting and the need to keep away from the tail.
This film shows the behaviour of a sea creature when it feels threatened.

Nemos - our favourite little fish get their nickname from their scientific name 'Anemone Fish'. Look for the name 'nemo' within the scientific name.
Nemo fish live in the Anemone Corals. Anemone Coral has stinging poison on the ends of all the tentacles. Nemo Fish have a special gel around their body which allows them to go inside the anemone coral without getting stung.
Scene 1: two large nemos (anemone fish) taking a look at the camera - they are calm and happy for the camera to be there.
Scene 2: These two nemos are panicking when the camera (and me) get too close! Can you see what they are trying to protect?
Scene 3: A nemo protects the anemone coral from being eaten by a larger fish - this time the tiny nemo wins the battle and sees off the predator.
