School Visits

There are some spare dates now available for Gloria to come to your school. Contact Gloria – suggest a date – and let’s see if we can organise a great ‘Ocean Adventure Day’ for your pupils.

Gloria visits schools around the world so all visits are by ZOOM.  This enables all children to remain in their own seats in their classroom, aiding concentration – rather than sitting on the floor for a mass assembly.  Teachers each log on to the presentation – enabling multiple classes to receive the presentations at the same time.

A.  Whole School Visits –   Gloria – the Weird Fish Lady – spends 45 – 60 mins with each group of children, and gives themed extension work for the teacher before she progresses on to a different group of children or

Praise for events & talks

Primary School, Aberdeen

Thank you SO much for giving us all the most wonderful afternoon today -we all loved it and the children were so interested and got so much from your talk and videos. They simply loved hearing your answers to all their questions. Many thanks for taking time to do this for us. It was such a super afternoon and tied in so well with this term's Topic, 'The Environment'. We would love to have you back to talk to us in the future.'

S. Robertson (Teacher i/c Junior School. Aberdeen)

Stavanger, Norway

WOW! That was superb – thank you so much! Now you can add Stavanger to your list of accolades!
I’d wondered how you would manage to cover such a massive general topic… but you did an admirable job of enticing us all into your world before hitting us with “the important bits”! I also know just how difficult it is to talk to a silent audience without any feedback at all, but you are clearly the consummate professional!! I had a slew of messages right after we closed the meeting, all were very positive and wanted to pass on sincere thanks for your time and very engaging talk.

Dee

Rotary 'Breakfast Club' Meeting in Liverpool

Thank you so much for joining us this morning. The conversation carried on after you left and all said how much they had enjoyed your talk and how much food for thought it had given them ! Not only are you entertaining so many of us with your wonderful stories and photos but educating us about our ocean world and making us realise how much we need to look after it and not abuse or harm it !

Ann

Southport, UK

Many thanks for your fabulous talk today, I have gained a greater understanding of the importance of protecting our oceans, I found it fascinating, very thought provoking and could have listened to you all day. Everyone was very positive and they all felt they had increased their ocean knowledge from your talk.
